Wedding Dresses Online

Rebecca, on August 20, 2019 at 8:54 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

So I've been batting around the idea of ordering my wedding dress online. Anyone out there bought a dress online and have a recommendation? What was your experience?

Thanks!!

I ordered my dress online through Amazon and I am so happy with it! I did a few months of research on the seller, read every review, and looked at every picture. I knew I had chosen the right dress after trying on a dress with almost the exact shape and silhouette in my local boutique. I then had my measurements done twice to make sure I was giving them the right numbers. If you have Prime many of the dresses can be returned unless you request customizations. I did request a couple of minor alterations and we emailed back and forth with pictures to make sure we were on the same page. I did actually add 1/2 an inch here and there (my biggest problem areas) because I'd rather have it too big than too small, but since it's also a corset back it doesn't need anything taken in. I spent $100 and it came out beautifully. It can definitely go wrong for some people, but I was really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to wear my dream dress on my wedding day. Good luck whatever you choose.

I bought my dress online from BlushFashion on etsy. She also has her own website. I tried several of her dresses (as well as others from Lulus) before landing on the one. I LOVE mine! https://blushfashion.boutique/collections/bridal-collection?page=1

I technically bought my dress online. It’s a physical store but they use resale sites to move old stock and I bought one of their samples online. I picked it up in person though since it was within driving distance.
Tons of bridal shops do this now, you can get a really good dress for cheap because on their resale listings they constantly mark them down until they’re sold.

I got mine online. I went with it because it was just so cheap aha. I actually bought two online. One didn't work out due to me not liking it and the other I did wear ! So I bought both because it was just so inexpensive aha that it was totally ok for me not to use them if they ended up badly. But anyway, my advice I learned from my experience is before buying online try on some styles in person that way you know what even works on your body type and what you'd like. And check return policies.
