Wedding Dress

Hello everyone! So I recently went to go look for my dress alone with my aunt.. I didn't invite anyone to go with me because it was a last minute decision to go look at dresses. I had been looking online at dresses and I fell in love with this lace long sleeved dress. I called to find out how much the dress is and it was completely out of my budget (i'm paying for the dress myself we don't have any help for our wedding)... I decided I needed to go look in person and I fell in love with the first dress I put on. It was the same style I wanted but without the sleeves... I had my grandmother who raised me so she's technically my mother figure. She seemed like she didn't like it because she like the style of the long lace sleeved dress I had showed her I liked.. I personally feel the same I really liked that dress I saw a picture of but I have never tried it on and haven't seen it in person.. My friend told me I should just go take a look at it to see my real feelings for it, but what if I love it and I know I can't get it? My feelings for the long sleeved lace dress is making my feelings for my actual dress change. What do you ladies suggest?

You might be able to get sleeves put on it. I've heard of others adding sleeves or necklines. You should look into that!

Agree with Sarah, you can always get sleeves put on it. I did not want to try on a dress that was out of my price range because I felt I would fall in love with it and go against the budget that I had set in my head. Could you look for other dresses with long sleeves that are in your price range? I found mine at David's and it was a really good deal.

Hi Erica! Have you made a decision as to what you will do about your dress? Have you consulted a seamstress to see if it is possible to add lace sleeves to the dress that is within your budget?
