I think it's beautiful and very classic.
It looks like it's made out of crepe though, which is notoriously unforgiving and shows every underwear line, every lump and bump, so it probably wouldn't be my first choice for that reason!

I love this style but this poster is right about the fabric! There are a lot of gowns like this, but in satin or mikado, so maybe you could look around.
