I bought my first dress from David's Bridal for about $700. Ended up returning it and ordering a dress from Azazie for about $350.

Thank you for responding. How did you like your second dress? Long story short. I thought I’d lose more weight by now, but I don’t see myself fitting in the original dress I bought for the wedding. 😩

I haven't received it yet, but I did try the sample dress before ordering it. I'm MUCH happier with this dress. I just ordered it last week with custom sizing and it should be here in about a month. I really just bought my first dress on a whim. Have you tried taking your dress to a seamstress to see if they could let the dress out any?

I’ll have to check to that website out. Thank you! I haven’t been able to find a seamstress that would work with my timeline yet.

I’m from the wonderful state of Colorado and there’s this lovely dress place called Timeless Gowns. I spent $175.00 on the most gorgeous dress ... well I least I think so lol it’s a little old lady that sells dresses out of her home nothing is over $600 dollars.

I bought my dress from David’s Bridal. I paid $862 for the 1st one but ended up goi NY back and exchanging it for my new dress which was $898. I grew to hate my 1st dress but I’m absolutely in love with my 2nd dress. It’s a Vera Wang and It has this wonderful, light textured organza material which will be perfect for my summer wedding while still allowing me to wear a ball gown.

I went to a local bridal boutique here. I had a great experience and my dress and veil total was $1,650, and I'm looking at about $400 in alterations.

My dress is being custom made through Anomalie for $1250 not including alterations. Still paying it off before they can ship it to me so hopefully I love it but they claim to have a full refund policy if I don't like it. Hopefully it doesn't come to that though lol.

I was all ready to shell out $5000 on my wedding gown, but later realized that I didn't feel too comfortable spending so much money on something I'd wear only once. I fell in love with an $850 Tadashi Shoji gown on BHLDN, but since BHLDN has sales/discounts, I decided to wait until the price dropped. My patience paid off and I managed to score the gown for a mere $300. Still had to pay $275 to get it taken in, because even the smallest size ran way large.

I also paid $1155 for my custom design Vietnamese dress and hat (for the reception), and another $380 for my Needle & Thread dress (for dancing) from Shopbop.

Ordered my dress online from BHLDN for $400 since there aren't any brick & mortar stores in Florida. I was very nervous about ordering without getting to try on, but I took my measurements and they have a return policy, although I won't need it, because it fits perfectly!

Another Bhldn bride here. I loved their styles and browsed the website for years. I fell in love with a dress that was marked down to $170! Total score. Paid $85 for alterations.

I bought my dress from a local boutique in south Florida. Designer was Martina Liana and the dress was $2999 plus alteration. I was and still I’m in love with my dress. I found myself thinking of it long after I tried other dresses at other boutiques later on and eventually I came back for it.

I went to Hem and Her, the original price of my dress would've been around 8,000 but because it was a show dress I got it for 1085 including all alterations!

Bought my dress from a local boutique. I don't think there could have been a better experience. I walked out of their calling my stylist a "dress angel." My dress experience was a dream come true! Spent $1600 before alterations. Paid for rush shipping since I didn't want a sample dress, and I am expecting it in 3 weeks, which leaves me about 3 months for alterations.
