    Hi Nichole!

Which websites were you referring to?

I actually bought my dress from Amazon and am beyond thrilled! I got the dress from VKBridal and they worked with me to get the right measurements and added a couple of alterations to make the dress perfect! I could not be happier but there was a full month of anxiety thinking I may have thrown my money down the drain. Best advice, research!!!! Check reviews on as many sites as you can and make sure you have correct measurements to submit. It is also best to round up because a local seamstress can always take it in but you can't add fabric.

I got mine online too but it was totally on a whim. Was happy with it. I would suggest you try on dresses in stores first to see styles you like and that look best on you before buying online though

Azazie and cocomelody are two legit online stores with dresses at nearly knockoff dress shop prices. BHLDN is another good one. Most, obviously not all, online shops are scams. They steal designer photos and give you a cheap knockoff. I've seen some success on amazon. Places like jc penney and other regular stores, sometimes even ross, have good dresses. If price is the issue, you can try prom/quinceanera/bridemaid dresses as well. There are a lot 9f used wedding dress stores that are also usually affordable. Just be careful so you don't get ripped off.

I bought my dress at JJs House, one of the sites some refer to as a “scam”...which is actually an inaccurate term in my opinion. They advertised the dress by a picture, did not claim it to be by any particular designer, I paid the price they listed, I got the dress, and it was exactly as it looked online. I was completely happy with it, and actually found the materials and workmanship better than I expected for that price! I did the custom measurements, so it fit nicely.

However, I wasn’t going into it blindly and absolutely knew it was a risk, so FOR ME, I had enough time and money to go to a Plan B if I had to. I would recommend buying this way only if you’re in that position too and definitely heed the advice of knowing ahead of time which styles & cuts look best on you. Good luck!

I didn't my BFF did, she was satisfied. I just say research a lot before you make the purchase and have a backup plan just in case.

I have not gotten my dress yet I haven’t even went to look at dresses . I’m still unsure if I should order on line I don’t want to be disappointed when it arrives if it’s not exactly what I imagine

    That's totally understandable.

Even if you plan on ordering your dress online, it may not be a bad idea to make an appointment in a bridal salon to try on different styles to see what suits you. that way, when you are looking online, you will know what styles you love and what ones you don't.
