I fell in love with one on eBay. I’ve ordered one there years ago and it was perfect (I never used the one I got years ago and ended up selling it). So with having such an amazing experience the first time I bought one (from China) on eBay, I figured I’d try again. I purchased my dress the beginning of April. It was supposed to be made to fit my height and they said it would be sent out by the end of May. Our wedding is June 2020 so I figured that was perfect. The day after I paid for it I got an email saying it was shipped. I emailed them and they said they made a mistake and would delete that tracking info. By mid May they never deleted that info so I emailed them again. They said it was being sent out and it would receive it by the middle of July. I knew something wasn’t right at that point to I opened a case for a refund which they were not happy about. They refunded the money and asked me to pay again once I received my dress. I went to David’s bridal and decided to buy a dress because I didn’t think that one would come. They sent me another tracking number and I kept an eye on the tracking. Until it got to the US and the tracking stopped which is normal for China post. I eventually got in touch with USPS and they told me my dress was delivered to Lakeland Florida in June 5. I live in North Carolina!!! That was all the info they could give me. So from personal experience, I wouldn’t order online. Regardless of where the dress is from. Going to David’s and trying on my dress before buying it felt like the whole situation was “Real”.

If you use a site like dhgate make sure there are reviews. I had one custom made and it turned out well but I ultimately sold it since it wasn't "the one" and purchased my dress on bhldn.com. I decided to not shop in stores since I don't like the attention. My final dress was perfect
