Hey guys, i wanted to preface this by saying i’m nervous to post this but my FH encouraged me too. so here it goes. i’ve struggles with my body image and anorexia for 9-10ish years now and some days it’s easier and some it isn’t. my wedding is next month and i’ve been feeling so fat in my dress. i got it back from alterations last month and have just dreaded putting it back on and feeling fat. i was in tears last night over wanting to feel beautiful on our big day but being so worried about my stomach. i’m going to post some pics of me in the dress. Please be kind with your comments and word choice. i’m just not sure what to do. we don’t have the time or money to get a new dress but since i’ve been feeling so horrible, i’ve also had serious dress regret even though i know i love my dress so much.

Omgosh, that dress is absolutely stunning on you! That last picture of the train and your facial expression is my favorite, it looks like it was made for you, girl! You don't look fat AT ALL. Seriously you look amazing and your your going to be gorgeous on your wedding day!

You look absolutely gorgeous, I love your dress. We are our own worst critics and I guarantee you that the "flaws" you see when you look in the mirror aren't seen by everyone around you. I know it's really hard to feel beautiful and sexy in our own skin sometimes, but take it from these ladies that have never even met you in saying that you really do look awesome!

You look beautiful!!!

To help you feel as beautiful as you look, here’s a tip from my photographer: imagine someone is pulling a string from the top of you head up to stand nice and straight. It makes a huge difference in photos and how you feel! Other than that, drink lots of water, avoid sweets & salt, and just move your body more often (walk, workout, etc) and you will feel lighter. 😊

I've seen you post your dress a few times on here and I absolutely love it. The detail on the dress is incredible. You look beautiful. I think we all second guess our dresses at one time or another (I sure did). Once your hair/makeup is done it will all come together and you will feel like the best version of yourself. Congrats!

Thank you everyone, just trying to make it through the next month and help myself feel confident and beautiful without it being damaging. Sometimes working out and dieting can be really traumatizing and damaging for people with body image issues or eat disorders. i’m just trying to be smart and do right by myself.

That dress is gorgeous!!! And you look absolutely AMAZING in it!!! I understand the struggle of eating disorders, as I have a cousin who also suffers from anorexia. But believe all of us here when we say, you don't look fat at all!!!!
You look like a beautiful bride, ready for her wedding day!!

I have the stomach issue (perceived or real), I know I'll be wearing Spanx on my vow renewal day. Try them if you haven't already!!!
I think I do see what you are referring to (pic 3) so maybe be cautious a little of the angles if you want to worry about that or get Spanx!!!!!! They r amazing
You do look amazing in this dress!!! Nobody but you will notice or care about anything but your beauty and infectious smile!
