If you bought your dress and veil separate how did you match them?

I ordered swatches from the veil designer and compared them to my gown.

I couldn't find the lace design from my dress anywhere, so I went with a plain tulle veil that looked great with my dress.

I didn’t get a veil but my friend got it separate from her dress off of amazon and she basically just went with a plain veil that could go with any dress

I just ordered a plain ivory veil to go with my dress. I also ordered swatches of veil fabrics like the previous poster to get exactly the color i wanted.

I had a lace dress and found a veil with similar lace but it wasn't the same. It still worked!

The boutique I ordered my ceremony gown from is going to custom make me one for my gown since my dresses designer doesn’t make veils and to put a special order in now to come in time with my dress would be 1.2k 🙄.
