Has anyone added a side zipper to their dress? I'm wearing two separate dresses for my wedding. I wanted a dress that's easy to get into for the reception. I picked up my reception dress from alterations yesterday and I realized that it'll take at least 20 minutes to get into because there's a corset in the back. I asked my seamstress if she could add a zipper to the side to make the dress easier to get into and she says that it wouldn't look good. Has anyone added a zipper to their dress before? Was it noticeable?

Ugh, such a good idea!! Wish you luck in getting it added, side zippers are much easier to deal with

My dress has a zipper on the side. I didn't add it, it comes like that because there is no where else to put it. It's not noticeable at all.

My dress came with a zipper in the back. It wasn't noticeable.
