Wedding dress worries

If you’re still looking at dresses, stop. Comparing your dress to others you think you might like more will only keep making you doubt yourself. You might not even like the dress you originally thought you wanted after you tried it on. I didn’t like the dresses I thought I wanted. Comparison really is the thief of all joy. Once you make a decision stick with it because there’s a reason you bought that dress!

It can be hard to let go of the vision you had of yourself on your wedding day when you choose a dress completely different from what you originally thought. The only thing to keep telling yourself is that you chose your dress for a reason and think about how much you love it!

Hi! Can i just comment and say i was looking for a forum/ thread JUST like this. I just got my wedding dress as well and i love it. It is really gorgeous and i felt amazing in it as soon as i put it on but once i left and listening to moms nagging about how she didn't feel “wowed” by it makes me completely stir crazy. Why wasn't my mom (aka maid of honor) wowed????? Thats not great. And my wedding will be early october in Nevada ( so 80 degrees in the day time) and its long sleeve........ I originally pictured myself in long sleeve - especially because my arms arent my favorite quality on myself but the more i think ahout it the more i worry and anticipate trying it on when it arrives only HOPING i’ll fall back in love with it. Otherwise i’m out on a whole nother hunt for one. And that is a mess for the planning right now.... meh . Now that i’ve completely spilled my heart on your page, i’ll go. Lol I just wondered if i was the only one
