Wedding Dress Woes

You will be lovely in it. Maybe just need to taken in the top edge a bit so it does not reach so much to your shoulders -- probably just folding material under the bodice to give more room for your arms. I would also go with a crinoline slip or hoops to keep the front of the dress smoother. The back even smoothed out without a crinoline slip, at least for the photo. This will work out great.

I think it’s lovely! I agree the top could be adjusted a bit, buts it’s very pretty. Try focusing on your veil, hairstyle, and jewelry to make it feel more you.


By the way, I think most of the brides I know didn’t have a “this is THE dress!” moment, so don’t feel like you missed out! It’s lovely when it happens but is by no means a requirement to have a great dress.

Darling you look beautiful in the dress but if you feel like it's not enough try to add your own touch to the dress maybe it'll make you feel better

OMGoodness, not even lying, this looks so good on you! Love the pearl details. What if you added a belt sash with a little sparkle? Or a petticoat to give it volume? Or long gloves? At this point in the timeliness you start questioning your entire life. Getting married is a massive life choice and it is natural for jitters. Maybe play with your hair and the veil for styling. How about your jewelry? Do you have something blue? Got your shoes? Stop looking at Instagram and Pinterest, focus on your choices and you will have an amazing day looking like a princess. A lot of people have told me while picking out my dress that it’s really the life and energy you bring to your dress that pulls it all together. I definitely think there’s something to be said for feeling confident in your dress. I would get some advice from a tailor and see if there’s any adjustments you can make to give it that extra umph. But I would also say, your husband wants to marry YOU and see YOU so own your body and shower yourself with love cause you look beautiful in this dress and it’s important to be yourself and own it! I did hear from tailors that they can lower the scoop especially on a dress like yours if you want to show more boobies, you might also consider pulling it in in certain places to accentuate your curves instead of hide them. I’m really excited for you and think this dress is beautiful!

Also, I love the back and am currently obsessed with the drop pearl veil look and am thinking of doing that too - LOVE!

I think once you have it on after alterations it will feel different to you. I know when I picked up my dress and it wasn't exactly fitted for me yet I felt kinda blah too. But once the alterations were done I felt so much better. Plus as women we always seem to see things on us that no one else does. Don't focus on just one thing. Know that you are a knockout in your dress and know that your other half will be amazed at how awesome you look!!
