Congratulations on finding your dress! It looks beautiful! To keep the train out of the way during the reception, ask your seamstress to bustle it. Some people are particular about the kind of bustle they get, but I would let your seamstress make that call. My dress had several layers, so we did an under-bustle for the heavier material and an over-bustle for the more delicate layer.

Possibly a bustle but it will feel pretty heavy in the back due to your train. But the train is GORGEOUS! I also have a very large train. The bustle works well but still if we have dancing I want to be super comfortable so I’m getting a second dress which will be short blingy and fun

Bustling is awesome! Work with an alterationist- given the not only the length but the width of the skirt, doing multiple bustles (one main and two smaller offer the side) could work really well! (I worked in bridal for three years)
