Wedding Dress Toppers/Boleros?

Anne, on March 25, 2017 at 2:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16

I'm 44 and some how over the years I have developed under arm boob fat. I'm considering ordering a topper to detract from my under arm area. Who wore a topper or bolero? Post pics and tell where you got it. I'm looking at Etsy.

Below is my dress. Do you think a topper is overkill? I already added the sleeves.

I'll post the topper I am considering in comments.

I think you look beautiful, and I think a topper may look odd over the shoulders, maybe you could find something off the shoulder/ drapey?

You look beautiful, I'd never guess your age. Not sure you need anything.

First, you are gorgeous and absolutely don't look 44. If you really want a bolero go for it but I don't think you need it Smiley smile

You 100% don't need it with the sleeves. Takes away from be dress. I can't even see your armpit area.

Honestly, you look great! You do not look a day over 32 and your dress looks AMAZING on you! I think you should leave it as is! Xo

I agree - leave it alone! You do not look 44 at all and there is no fat there.

A side note, sometimes underarm/boob fat can be migrated breast tissue from improperly fitting bras. If you really feel like it's developed recently you may want to consider the fit of your bras and when they were last purchased. A speciality lingerie store can get you fitted quickly!

I didn't post this get compliments but wow, y'all have made me feel so good. I trashed my old padded VS bras about 2 years ago and bought those PINK lace bras that have no padding. That is where the boob fat shows most and I'm a full B. They seamstress sewed Dolly Parton like cups into the dress.

I don't even see anything. I am insecure about my arms as well, so I get it. However, you look great without the topper!!
