I absolutely love tea length dresses! I searched everywhere to find a shop that sold some near me, and still had to travel about 2 hrs to get it!

I initially thought I wanted something cap sleeves and mermaid style. The dress I ended up with for my wedding was so beyond different aha.

I think each silhouette has its own benefits for different body types, but I really love fit and flare (though I quite like A line as well!) I tried on over 30 gowns and both silhouettes stuck with me.

I love the trumpet/mermaid style.

I thought I was gonna go with an a-line even though I love ball gowns xD. I didn't think I'd like any ball gowns that were in my price range (I found 3 actually but I had to pick one, of course) The 1st three

pictures are dresses I almost bought (I still have dress regret >.> the 3rd picture is my dress. I know it's likely the way the dress was hanging in the picture and the lack of a slip but the skirt looks weird to me xD it's a ball gown, so it's supposed to be poofy but without a slip it just kinda hangs weirdly.

I knew I wanted a A-line dress, I just had trouble finding one. After trying on about 20 dresses my soon to be sister in law asked me to try one one more. It so happens to be the one I picked.

This is my dress! I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted, I just knew that a ball gown would be too much for me. I’m so in love with my decision. 💕

I’m not sure if my dress is considered mermaid but it’s definitely more fitted and I really love lace! Some might say my dress is simple (MOH really wanted me to have some bling!) but I loved it!

This is my dress before alteration, the straps are too long on me. I originally wanted a strapless sweetheart neckline but i have two toddlers who like to pull and hide under my dress lol I love my dress and all the glittery sparkles.
