Hi guys, so I’m struggling with the thought of purchasing a wedding dress. Our wedding is on 9/18/21 in a beautiful barn. I know exactly what type of dress I want (in picture above) but am afraid that I won’t find it/will be too expensive, must have long sleeves! If anyone has any experience with this type of dress and where to find one/ if it was super expensive or not looking to spend about 2k, please let me know your experiences! I am from Rochester ny and there’s not many bridal shops around here but also do NOT want to buy Online either. Thanks!

    Im from buffalo and my date is 9/25/2021!! I got my dress from bliss bridal, they were absolutely amazing! they have a lot of essense of australia dresses, I actually tried one on very similar to that! All the dresses i tried on were under 2k 😊

    really hoping to find something with the lace on the top like in the picture I posted(not sure exactly what that is called) but really stressed I won’t be able to find that nearby!

    These are great! Close to what I’m looking for and within my budget! However looking for more of the lace top like in the picture I posted, but am nervous I won’t be able to find something like that!

    That dress is gorgeous! Unfortunately I can't be a huge help if you are dead set against buying online, but if you reconsider you can save a TON by buying on pre-owned wedding dress websites or thrifting sites like StillWhite, Poshmark, PreownedWeddingDresses.com, or Tradesy, and buying online through those sites will give you more options in terms of designers and such. I got a $2k+ dress for $400 plus shipping and because I live in a rural area I would have had to drive 4+ hours to even get to a bridal shop that carried the same manufacturer.

    Rochester, NY is at least nearish some bigger cities (definitely no where near as isolated as where I'm from). If you can find some dresses you like online you can go to the manufacturer websites and usually figure out which bridal boutiques carry them closest to you. You should also keep an eye out for bridal shows in your area. I feel like a $2k budget is pretty generous and you should be able to find a beautiful dress with that budget. Best of luck!

    I'll reiterate I totally love that dress. It's pretty similar to my dress (although mine is sleeveless, I love the look of sleeves but when I tried them on they were too restrictive for my shoulders and not practical for my dancing style, lol). Absolutely stunning though!

    If you found it on a random website/Pinterest board you can try a reverse image search on Google to see if you can find the manufacturer, then go to their website and try to track down a boutique that carries them that way. Good luck!

    I can’t help with the dress since I haven’t gone dress shopping myself yet, but I’m originally from near Rochester, Minnesota and we’re date twins ☺️ Good luck with the dress hunt!!

    This is my wedding dress Smiley smile I paid $1450 and that was with 20% off. located in Maryland.
