Department stores are best, since they'll have a lot of brands and you can see which kinds you prefer. I don't particularly like Spanx but others swear by them, I prefer Maidenform.

Depending on the style of your dress, you may be able to wear the ones that are full body suits, but if not, I recommend going for the ones that go up to under your bust. I've tried some that stop mid-tummy and there's a sudden bulge of fat right where they end

Definitely find high quality spanks in the right size. I put on spanks that were too small, badly dislocated my knee, and will no be having surgery on the 31st because my knee keeps dislocating since. All because I wanted to look good in a dress 🙄😂! But my experience is definitely not the usual experience. Best of luck!

I suggest going to a department store so you can try them all on! They even have good ones for cheap at target, or Marshalls, tjmaxx or Nordstrom rack

I got mine at Target, they’re long shorts (biker style)
