I felt that way also, but a LOT of dresses look much different in person. I found a couple online before I went dress shopping that I really loved, but I felt a whole lot different after seeing them in person. Same thing vice versa, there were dresses I saw online that I didn't pay any attention to only to see them in store and actually like them.

Don't get discouraged! Try things you think you might not like, try all kinds of silhouettes, you'll find something

Hi Sarah, I felt that way, I ended up trying on about 30 dresses when I realized I was finding reasons not to like a dress instead of looking for the positives, I finally fell in love with a dress, I don't have a picture, but if you want to see it, Stella York style 6979 from the 2019 collection, I recommend the Stella York and the Casablanca collections, good luck!!!

My advice would be to stop looking online and just go into your appointment with an open mind and try on all the different silhouettes. Things look so different on a real person versus on a model in a picture.

However, if you’re struggling, then just have your dress custom-made. That way, you can create it to be exactly what you want.

Oh yes! I went to 13 stores before I found one that I liked. Not even loved no tears anything, just liked enough to buy. Going to a store that has a really wide selection and trying on a little bit of everything really helps. Creating a list of styles that you like and don’t like and it helps narrow it down! Good luck

Don't put too much pressure on the first bridal salon. I had to go to 3 before I found my dress. And be open to trying on as many shapes, colors, fabrics, necklines, etc. as you can find.

I think that's kind of the point of shopping though so you can try things and see things and maybe you'll find what you like in parts and eventually find a dress that has all the details you want
