Wedding Dress Shopping???

I think sometimes we realize what kind of person we are when we make decisions like this. It made me realize that I'm a pretty private person. Even though I love my FMIL, I couldn't imagine her being there. I felt safe with my mom, sis, and best friend. I had trouble getting into the experience at first and was extremely self conscious. I wanted to cry at the beginning because I felt so awkward. Only those 3 ladies know how it can be for me

I brought my mom and MOH. If I went to more than one shop, I was planning to invite my closest aunt, and some of my bridesmaids to other times, but first time was the charm!

A lot of shops will give you a limit of how many people you can bring.

I brought my MOH, my mom, my FMIL, and FH's grandmother.

I brought my mom and my older sister bc they live close to me! My younger sis and best friend live either across the state or the whole country lol

It was nice not having too many people, because I understand it can sometimes be a bit overwhelming with so many opinions, but some people like to bring their whole BP or in-laws, and that's fine too

I went by myself first time around. Shopped in person but went with an online vendor ultimately. Time #2 is in the horizon and I went the same way but used a more upscale company this round. No need in bringing anyone; that's a store's bridal consultant job! Your mom, bridesmaids, etc. input should be irrelevant, it's your wedding. Too many cooks in the kitchen ruin even the best dish. FWIW, I used to work in bridal 13 years ago. It's not a new concept to shop alone. Most stores let you take photos, and other local brides frequently offer opinions.

I bought mine off of Etsy, but if I went wedding dress shopping I would of brought my mom and dad.

I took my mom, fmil, moh, & future daughter. It was a wonderful experience

Planning on my mom the first trip, then including FMIL, and after that my MOH. I do not want a lot of opinions flying around and HOPEFULLY by the third I will have picked my dress already.

I went with just Mom and best friend. I wouldn't bring more than three people with you.

I plan on taking my mom, my best friend, and maybe my dad or aunt I am close with.

I went by myself but brought my aunt back to finalize my selection
