How much did you spend on your wedding belt? I tried one on today at my bridal shop with my dress and it went perfectly. The cost was $155 so I told them I'd think about it and get back to them. Ik etsy sells cheaper ones, so I don't know if I should just try to find another one?

I would definitely shop around. I bought mine at David's Bridal for $50.

Mine was $150 at David's bridal. I wouldn't have bought it. My MIL did because she said it was too perfect. If not I wouldn't have got it.

It depends on the materials that the belt is made of, but I don't think that cost is too outrageous. Many of the belts at BHLDN are double that amount. I'd definitely recommend that you keep looking though. You can always come back to this one if you don't find anything else that feels right

Bridal shops quadruple the price on veils, belts, garters, etc. You can find the same belt on Etsy, Amazon, JJs Bridal, etc. for around $20

That sounds a bit insane... I'm just using a couple of ribbons that I already have. One is black and the other is red. I'll either sew the more narrow one on top of the wider one or just layer them and tie it in the back. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
