Wedding Dress regrets

That dress is spectacular! It's totally normal to second guess your choice; I did for months until it came in 9 months later and I got to try it on. I absolutely love it now that I decided to have cap sleeves added on with lace appliques from my dress. You can always call the salon and ask to try it on again! Then if you don't like it as much as you once did, you can try to work with the bridal salon to come to a solution. I think if you put it on again, you'll fall in love with it all over!

I think it's beautiful. I think it's normal to have second thoughts, or buyer's remorse-- I think Mrs Crane is right, you'll fall in love with it all over again in a few months!

Just wait until your first fitting. I was second guessing and then once I had it on again every doubt left my mind

Someone else brought this up just a couple of days ago. I completely freaked out the minute I got home from purchasing my dress. I never had that "moment" of knowing it was everything I ever wanted EVER blah blah blah. It's a beautiful dress and it's perfect for our day. I can't wait to get it fitted! The grass is always greener. Ultimately, we get to choose one and that's kind of scary :-)

I think that that dress is amazing. I also didn't want a sexy dress but when I put on the ball gown and an A-line they both just did nothing for me. I got a fit and flare and I love it. I think you got your soft and romantic and the drama is the bit of sexy. Just keep the theme of soft and romantic for everything else (hair, makeup, veil, flowers, accessories)

That dress is gorgeous!! I think shimmer will catch even the dimmest of light, and come out really well in photographs!

I also had veeeery light second thoughts a month after buying my dress, but now I'm obsessed with it again and can't wait for it to arrive! I think it's impossible not to when you're inevitably seeing lots of wedding dresses every day while planning...If you felt 100% about it at the time of purchase, I'm sure there was a reason

Thanks for all the supportive and kind words! I'm feeling better about this already. I didn't know it was so common to have dress regret. I just figured I've already decided to make the biggest commitment already. A dress should've been a cinch. Guess not!

I know at the end of the day what's important is why we're there... but I want to look beautiful doing it too!
