Wedding Dress Regrets?

I ordered mine with a different color than what they had in the store. I was very confident when I made the order, but as time went on I started to 2nd guess it. The pictures online and in my phone didn't seem to do it justice and I started having major anxiety. The problem was I spent so much on it, there was no way under any circumstance that I was going to be able to get another one. All my anxiety disappeared as soon as I put it on for my first fitting. I love it all over again! Your dress is very pretty and you could totally add more to your overall look very easily. The fun thing about the dress being more simple is it totally frees you up for accessories and a fancy veil/hair piece, if that's what you want to do.

I think they're both stunning. I personally starting feeling the same way about my dress but then I put all of it on, slip, dress and veil looked in the mirror and remember why I loved it so much!!!

As others have said, very normal. I luckily did not go through this. Just the opposite in fact. However, there are so many ladies on here who've had dress regret, but we've helped them through it.

I think your dress is gorgeous. If you want to add something, I think the statement belt and a strand of pearls would look lovely. You'll be gorgeous because you're the bride!

Im going through the exact same thing! We also are using a historic courthouse/post office venue. My dress is very plain but have decided to sparkle it up with jewelry and hairpiece!!! Last month I kept changing my mind about the dress. But I picked it up this weekend and fell in love all over again!!!

That dress is beautiful and will look STUNNING in your venue. I don't think the dress is plain at all, but once you add a veil and jewelry, I'm sure all your worries will fade away.

First of all - your ceremony space is GORGEOUS! I'm having such jealousy Second - your dress is beautiful and definitely not too plain. Remember that you want people to see you on your wedding day and say how beautiful YOU are, not how beautiful the dress is So focus on how the beautiful the dress makes you look, and less on if there are enough details on the dress!

Thanks y'all. This is definitely putting me at ease. I appreciate the support, for sure. I just worry I got caught in the moment of saying yes to the dress at the time. I am usually so indecisive, but put this one on and just felt like it was right, so it frightens me that I was so confident in my decision.

Hopefully when I'm able to put it on for my first fitting in October, I'll feel better. That, and I'm trying so hard to lose weight to feel more confident in the dress. Everyone wants to feel spectacular, right?
