Wedding dress regret? ☹

I think the best way is to stop looking at other dresses. I know that’s easier said than done, but it will really help. And try to remember how you felt in your dress, and when you love most about it.

Honestly I was in the same boat. I went dress shopping and tried on 5-6 dresses and the first dress I tried on was my absolute favorite from the choices I tried on.( I thought it was the one my mom loved it & my MOH nearly cried when I walked out in it) so I purchased it. It hadn’t even came in yet from being ordered and I already regretted it, I new I messed up and that it wasn’t my dress(it is a beautiful dress) just not mine. So 3 months later I found myself back at David’s bridal looking through the racks and i pulled probably 6-7 dresses. The very last dress took my breath away I new it was my dress and ended up exchanging my first dress for it (I’m currently waiting for it to come in and I haven’t regretted it for a single moment). So if an exchange is possible where you got your dress maybe go try on more (if budget is tight, stick as close as possible to original dress price). If not exchangeable maybe stop looking at dresses altogether or if budget also Try on more and see if there’s one you love more and try to sale yours?! I also had dreams regret after purchasing a dress and looking through pictures! I was stuck between two and allowed everyone to sway my decision to the one I bought because it was more suited for our venue! i think you look absolutely stunning in your dress it fits you perfectly and you look so completely happy in it!!!! I would definately try to refrain from looking at other dresses of course you will like others and they will look great on you as well but remember the feeling s you had with the one you have even if that means trying it back on!

There are an endless amount of beautiful dresses. So finding the “one” is somewhat of a deceiving fairytale. If it wasn’t, then so many brides like you wouldn’t have dress regret. My view is that you liked your first dress enough to buy it. But if you keep looking, you’ll certainly find another beautiful dress... and another.. and another... and that cycle can continue if brides don’t move on to another area of planning after buying a dress.
