Wedding Dress..regret?

Hi everyone! I need some support and help. I’m too ashamed to share this with any of my friends or family.

I’m getting married in May 2022 and unfortunately, i’m dealing with dress regret. I bought this dress in May and it should arrive at the bridal salon next month.
I’m just stressing it’s not going to match the theme of our wedding or be age appropriate. I’m 32 and will nearly be 33 when i get married. i’m getting insecure I should’ve chose something more simple and elegant. EEEK!
I’d really appreciate the honesty.

    Age is just a number. I'll be nearly 37 at our wedding (2023) and while I haven't found "the dress" it is definitely going to be sexy because that's what I want 🥰

    My dress 100% doesn't match my theme, but you know what? Who cares! I feel beautiful and excited in the dress. No one will remember the decor, but they will remember the magic of the night! If the dress made YOU feel amazing, like a bride, and you could picture yourself walking down the aisle to your FH...then it's the perfect dress for you!

    My dress is the complete opposite of my theme lol. While I should have went with a ball gown I never liked the aesthetic on me. Made me look small and swallowed me. I got a mermaid gown instead. As long as you feel beautiful that’s all that matters. And I agree age is just a number.

    The dress is gorgeous and looks perfect on you! It doesn’t have to match a theme and you should feel beautiful and elegant for your day. It’s how you feel in it that matters.

    Do you love the dress? Do you feel beautiful in it? That's really all that matters. What is age appropriate? As long as it looks good and you're comfortable wearing its appropriate. You look gorgeous in it.

    I freaked out right before my wedding dress came in - you bought it a long time ago and it's a really big purchase!! I'd recommend just taking deep breaths until your dress arrives and you can try it on in person again. ❤️

    I don’t think “age” matters for anything really, especially your dress! If it makes you feel happy and beautiful then it’s the right dress!

    I am in my early 40s and chose this dress and we have a piratey rocker skull theme going. Wear what you feel great in. For the record I think it looks AMAZING and you rock the look! Just remember age is a number and who cares if you are appropriate? Do what feels good to you it is your day!
