So I am freaking out! I would say I like to know things way ahead of time and maybe a smidge of a control freak when it comes to planning events, holidays, etc.

I ordered my dress Feb 29, 2020 at Kleinfeld's. Even with COVID, Kleinfeld assured my mom and I that the dress was not delayed and it should be in 10 weeks before the wedding. We are now less than 8 weeks away and I am so nervous it won't come in time if I need any alterations. I got the dress special length because I am short, so I am not worried about that but just any slight alterations that I will need, I hope it can get done in time.
When did everyone's dress come in and how long did alterations typically take?

Oh no! Have you been in contact with them? Do they know where your dress is & when it will arrive??
Mine actually arrived 2 weeks ahead of time, and that was at the height of the pandemic.

Every time I call, they just say there is no delay and they will inform us when it gets to the salon!

I haven't followed up since the 10 week mark. I probably should to make sure we are still on track, but that was the last update my mom got (2 weeks ago when she attempted to make another payment).

Yeah I would definitely follow up, especially since they have an extensive alterations process and from Kleinfeld, it probably wasn't cheap. This is totally unacceptable; tell them as much.

If they told you 10 weeks before then you definitely need to call as it is now 2 week after that date. I would have been calling 2 days after that date lol.

Yes definitely follow up with them. I got my dress a month and half late because of COVID, but once it was in, my seamstress was able to plan for appointments based on my wedding date. I only needed two appointments, though we budgeted for three or four. We were able to go to do the second appointment three weeks after the first, that was only because she only works at that particular location a couple days a week. So the dress was probably done much sooner than that.

I ordered my dress March 2020 and it came in towards the end of August. I'd definitely be contacting them. My dress wasn't supposed to be here until September but arrived early. My veil was delayed though and I didn't get it until this month. But yea I'd follow up with them especially if you may need more than one alteration appointment

Thanks everyone, I called yesterday after your responses but they said it should have been in and they were going to request a status update from the production team and call me back. Still no response yet....

I started my alterations 2 months before my wedding. The initial alteration took about 2 weeks. Then I went in to try it on and had her alter a couple of other things. I had my dress back 2 (maybe 3) weeks before my wedding.
