This is my second time getting married. I never had that moment with my first dress. My first dress was a simple church dress. Nothing special about it.

I didn’t cry or anything but it just felt right. Like my body knew this is the dress. I smiled so much in it.

When I found my dress, no one cried or anything. However, i just felt so good and beautiful and "right" in it. It was my 2nd shopping trip and the 1st dress from that store. My group and I loved it and we just kept measuring every other dress against it. When I put it back on, I didn't really want to take it off.

I didn't. I just looked down and said "yeah, this is probably gonna be it"

Naw. My eyes lit up and I said “Ooh, this looks good!” No tears... until it arrived in my size and I tried on a veil. Then it hit me & I got misty eyed.

I’m Hindu and wore a gold silk saree for my ceremony. I looked around and found one but didn’t buy it. I kept thinking about it, went back a month later, and it was still there. I bought it and got home and when I stood in front of the mirror with it, I definitely froze for a moment. Couldn’t believe I was finally getting married. ;-)

I've bought two wedding dresses, but I never wore the first one (canceled the wedding). My MOM cried for that one, and I really liked it.This time around, I went to a sample sale with friends, and they treated me like a very large doll.I did look at my dress and say, "I'm going to like this one more than I want to," put it on, and went to look. One friend started to cry. So, then another friend started to cry. And then my third friend went to hug me and *I* started to cry, and she cried, and the sales girl cried (NO LIE). Turns out it was the dress I had favorited online, I just didn't recognize it in the bag.

When I went to my first fitting, I was so excited I forgot to eat, nearly passed out, and basically got emotional all over the place.

I have a few dresses that I favorited. I go for my first appointment in August to try dresses on and see which one I like.

I didn’t get emotional, but the minute I saw myself in it I felt totally relieved. I also smiled a lot. That’s how I knew!

I’m a super emotional person and I didn’t cry! But I just kinda knew that I really liked it and didn’t want to take it off. My MOH was sobbing so that was definitely my sign haha.

Yes! My mom and I went just because. Not thinking I would find a dress because I am picky, the ladies who helped me made me try on every style just to make sure what I wanted is what I wanted. The 4th dress I tried on I fell in love with! I was the only one in the shop and as I was putting the dress on I was yelling to my mom about how much I loved the dress. I came out and she started to cry. We both knew it was the one.

Not at all for me. I've just never been that type of person. I hate shopping, I am not a girly girl, I am happy in jeans and a T-shirt I got from any of the bajillion hockey tourny's I've played in. I ended up going to 3 stores and the dress I picked was simply the dress I found myself comparing all other dresses too. I was a little sad that I never got "that moment" but I also knew that it was very likely to not happen.

I cry at everything but I didn't want to get my hopes up of having a Say Yes To The Dress moment and then never feel like I found The Dress. BUT when I finally put on The Dress I immediately just FELT like a bride. It was a weird feeling and I teared up a little (I'm honestly very surprised I didn't sob but whatever haha). I just knew like THIS is what I was going to walk down the aisle in. No other dress I put on gave me that feeling.

EDIT: Also, once I was prettty sure I liked that dress best, the ladies put a veil on me and BOOM I KNEW.

For some it will, for some it won't. When I initially found the dress, I knew it was "my dress," but definitely didn't get the "omg I'm gonna cry!" feelings. When I had my final fitting and had my veil on with my shoes, my accessories, etc. then it was a little more of the weepy stuff, but everyone reacts differently Smiley smile

I'm an easy crier, but this totally happened to me! I always saw brides getting teary eyed on SYTTD and didn't know if it really happens, but it does! I was okay until the bridal consultant put the cathedral veil on with the dress, and then, I started tearing up!

A stranger in the store came up to me and said that’s the one. The color was perfect for my complexion. My emotion was I look great in this dress. I didn’t cry or anything, at the end of the day it’s just fabric and I can get married in anything really.

I feel like I grew to love my dress rather than it being THIS IS IT. Everytime I wore it I just remembered why I chose it. after I bought it though I did look around for another but I still didn't find anything I liked more
