Wedding dress hemmed

Amber, on June 25, 2019 at 8:51 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
So my dress was very long and 2 foot of train. I had the train cut a bit and it looks great but now I feel like the front is too short. When I’m standing still the dress doesn’t show my feet/shoes but when I walk they show. I will be in the keds by Kate Spade on my wedding day, am I overthinking the length? I like when the shoes don’t show, Although they only show when I walk but they will show as I’m coming down the aisle..

Definitely overthinking it. You don’t want to trip over your dress. If you could see your toes when standing still, that would be too short (IMO).

Trust me from someone who already did this.... you want that little bit of space that’s allowing your shoes to show or you will fall on your face when you have sweat dripping down your legs and you’re nervous and the inner layer of your skirt wraps around your ankles...

It can’t be on the floor as you walk or it could get stuck under your feet you may trip in it.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in the same boat, and am also overthinking my blue-shoe decision haha. I might end up looking for a white pair, but ultimately I think it'll be ok.
