Wedding dress from Ross?

Emily, on January 7, 2014 at 1:01 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

So I am planning a 15 guest wedding on a very, very budget. I have been stressing out on finding the "perfect" wedding dress. For my wedding, we wanted to go with simple and elegant. Eventually I found my perfect dress at Ross for about $30. I was thinking of buying the dress, heels and a veil for an estimate total of $100. What is your opinion on getting a wedding dress from Ross? Does it seem cheap and distasteful?

Also we are trying to get married next month. We don't want to wait months for a custom dress since I'm joining the military.

If you love it, then it doesn't matter where you got it from our how much it cost. As long as you feel beautiful and love it that's all that matters.

Some people borrow or rent a dress, some buy used even from a Thrift store...so not sure why buying a dress from a popular buy out store, would be cheap or tacky? You GO, girl...I respect anyone who is thrifty! =)

    I love Ross!

With that said, if the dress looks good, and you feel comfortable, do it.

Why does it matter where you got it? So long as it looks good on you and you like it, then be happy with it. No one needs to know where you got it or how much you spent on it.

I've seen people get their dresses from Goodwill...if you love it and think it looks great on you then it shouldn't matter where you got it from!

I agree with those saying "go for it". Who cares where it's from? If it fits, and you love it, and the price works, do it! But do it quick, I know Ross changes their stuff a lot. Congrats!
