Wedding dress doubts

Hey all!
Covid has made it nearly impossible for me to shop for a dress besides shopping online. (I live on an island with no boutiques and traveling off island isn’t an option unfortunately.) I have been scouring the internet to try to find the right dress. Ultimately, I want something a little unique that makes me feel really beautiful.
I ordered this dress to try, and overall I think it’s really pretty, but I just feel like it’s kind of basic, and honestly is a tad bit uncomfortable (but maybe all wedding dresses are?). I really don’t want to make a big hassle ordering and sending back a ton of dresses just to find the right one, but I feel like I only like this dress more than love it. But I could make it work if need be. Would you settle for your dress and make it work, or is it important to keep looking for “the one”?

I think the dress looks really pretty on you, but if you don't love it then I'd say find one you do. How far away is your wedding? Can you wait a bit to go to shops?

It shouldn’t be uncomfortable. If you aren’t comfortable and don’t feel like it’s right, keep looking.

Hmm, well with your wedding being so close I would recommend keep that until you find a new one. If there's things you like about other dresses maybe this can be altered to your liking.

    It really is beautiful though!

That dress is gorgeous- I agree with Alyssa’s suggestion, keep it in case you don’t find anything else. You said you feel like it’s missing something, have you tried it on with your accessories (earrings, necklace, veil, tiara etc)?

I also settled but never really imaged a wedding dress before now so it is hard to get attached to anything. I love your dress!

It's pretty but you should never settle. There are countless posts where brides are on their 2nd or 5th dress purchases because they didn't feel it with the first. You will know it's the one when you don't want to take it off and you don't want to feel regret when you see your pictures.

I am thinking looking for accessories might be my best option at this point.

Thanks so much for all of your responses! I decided to keep looking even though my wedding is literally 3 months away, and ended up finding a dress I absolutely love 😊 can’t wait to wear it on my big day! 🤍✨
