Wedding dress doesn’t fit

Cassie , on September 1, 2019 at 8:31 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
I bought my wedding dress as a off the rack dress because I fell in love with it right away. It fit me just right at the time, but now a few months later I can’t get it zipped the top half. I have lots of anxiety and stress which is I think the reason for the weight gain. I have 8 months until my wedding yet but I’m feeling so down. Trying to diet just makes me feel worse.

I will say try not to stress but most of us do when it comes to wedding planning. You still have time to lose the weight you need. If not alterations can add or adjust the top to fit you.

I'm sorrySmiley sad that had to be horrible for you. 8 months is a really good amount of time to get it to fit though. I wouldn't think of it as dieting. I was on the yo-yo diet thing for years and it just made it worse. I started doing small stuff like just walking and not eating after a certain time at night. when that worked some I felt like I wanted to do other things. I'll be honest, i'm worried about my dress fitting too. I go soon for my first fitting

There's still time for you to fit in the dress! PP gave a great suggestion about taking up walking!

Maybe try whole30? It’s not a diet but it’s a body reset which may help with your anxiety as well as she’d some weight. I’m on day 13 and I already just feel better all over. Diets are hard but this is only 30 days and there are a ton of benefits! Don’t step on the scale, don’t try the dress on again, just see how you feel afterwards Smiley smile

🙋 Hey girl.. so I've been on a "weight loss journey" for about 3 years now and I've lost 70 lbs. 40ish of that was over the past year. I follow a nutritionist ilana Muhlstein and her program 2B mindset and started in 2018. There are a lot of great workout programs out there too you can do from home. Hang in there.. 8 months is plenty of time. Start drinking lots of water, eating plenty of protein she veggies, moving your body more, limiting carbs at night. Don't do anything crazy or unsustainable.. You just end up gaining more back in the end. You are trying to make a lifestyle change you can stick with. So you find healthy foods you like to eat and an exercise you can stick to. You have plenty of time to do this in a healthy way and start your newlywed life off feeling great ♥️💪
