Wedding dress distress

I’m worried I’m starting to regret my dress choice I purchased for my wedding. I tried on a few dresses here and there but I feel like where I live now didn’t have a great variety. I’m originally from Chicago where there’s much more options. I can’t tell if the back is too plain going towards the bottom? When I asked at the bridal shop if I could add a lace trim to the bottom they basically said no it would ruin the dress but I feel like it looks kind of plain in comparison to the rest of the dress? Thoughts? Am I freaking out for no reason? I was thinking of adding an overskirt made of tulle that shows the front detail and covers the back for the church ceremony… but does that look tacky? Should I just do a long veil with trim?

I love the dress as is without the tulle overlay. I don’t think it looks too plain at all. It looks great on you and you'll look beautiful on your wedding day. If you want to add the veil you totally can. It’d be super pretty. But the dress itself is gorgeous

Ooh I do love a big dramatic skirt but the original train is beautiful and it seems like the overskirt is selling that beautiful lace so short.
I think the dress is stunning, and I really like the way the lace softens and lessens towards the bottom.
I think that veil is beautiful but might even compete with the lace on the train and be too busy, but I'd need to see it to be sure.
I think it's natural with such an expensive purchase to wonder if you bought the right thing, but there must have been something that drew you to this dress and made you fall in love! Like the fact that it looks gorgeous on your figure, the delicate lace, and the beautiful neckline? I don't think you have anything to worry about!

Sorry, my daughter hit the phone while I was finishing that up 😐 any who, having the detailed veil would add some detail to the back and I’m sure it’ll look lovely and add just enough of what you think the dress is lacking. And shortly after if you’re doing a bustle that’ll also add to what you think may be lacking. I love the dress though👍🏼

I think the dress is absolutely gorgeous and not plain at all. I think both options would look great but I vote for the long veil

Personally, I think the dress is beautiful and has quite a bit of detail! You look AMAZING. I would suggest if you want more, definitely
Go with a very detailed veil! But the dress for sure

I think your dress is gorgeous and not plain at all! If you want to add something, I feel like a beautiful, detailed veil would add to it nicely. You look great though, I wouldn't worry!

The dress is super beautiful and I’m with them adding it would ruin the dress. I think it’s perfect the way it is you look beautiful in it. Adding the veil and beautiful accessories will be more than enough
