Here my situation my mom offered to pay for dress because she bought my sister's. I know what I want is out of her budget so I decided to just pay for it myself (totally ok with it). The champagne dress above is between $1300-$1500, I have tried this dress on in person and absolutely loved the way I looked in it and how nice the color complements my skin color (no pic in it the bridal salon would not allow it). The white dress I can purchase at Cocomelody for a fraction of the price. I can have it altered to allow for the off the shoulder sleeves and I can order it in champagne that would cost me roughly $590. My only fear is the dress will not be right and I've wasted $600 then I have to go out and buy another dress, they also don't have a swatch of what their dark champagne will look like so I am basing the color solely off of my phone and computer screen... the first dress would only need the standard alterations.
My question is what would you ladies do in this situation? Thank you in advance
