Wedding Dress Delays (due to Covid)

Hi! Just wondering if anyone is experiencing delays in getting their wedding dress?
My bridal shop said I would get it in mid November, then when I called they said the feast week of November.
Now they are saying this week or next week it should be here I’m starting to worry because my Elopement date is in March and I’m worried I won’t have alterations time.

    Mine was supposed to be ready by November but they did warn me of delays when I ordered it in May. I haven't even reached out to see what the update is because I won't need it yet, but I would just keep contacting them every few weeks for an update!

    COVID has shipping backed up period, so that actually doesn't surprise me

    Unfortunately there’s really not much you can do about it...do you have your appointment tentatively set for alterations?

    No. I made sure not to need any alterations because I was paranoid about that.

    Have you got an appointment with a seamstress for early January? Most alterations take only 2-6 hours. It is getting an appointment that takes time.

    I was told that there could be a delay in shipping and production due to covid.
    My wedding is six months away and she's telling me I won't get it for four months or a lil more. Smiley sad
