Go with whichever one makes you feel more loke you. They are both nice gowns.

They are both beautiful!! I recommend going to try both on again and see if you get the same reaction as you did the first time to either one. Buy the one that you see yourself walking down the aisle in, or the one you see yourself wearing in your wedding photos. If you see yourself walking down the aisle in the second one, go with your gut feeling!

I personally love the first one on you, it compliments your figure and the lace is just gorgeous! If it’s what you’ve been looking for, maybe go for that. Again, IDK, you have to choose the one that’s right for you

I’d say go with the dress that makes you feel like a bride! The fact that the front is plain may actually benefit you, it’ll be timeless but with a hint of something special when you turn around.

Go with the one that gave you the feeling. If you had the feeling without lace, you don't need lace. If you really want lace, you can wear a lace veil or get lacy shoes- no one would really see them, but you'd get to feel like you were wearing lace.


If you're still not confident, you can post pictures of the front of the dresses to get more opinions. (Blur or crop out your face if you want to maintain privacy.)

If the second one is the one you've been looking for, I'd go with that one. Talk to a seamstress and see if you can add some lace or any other elements to the front to make it pop.

I will say that the kind of liked the bottom one best. Girl my dress is satin with no lace or bling but ya know what with my cathedral mantilla veil it is a nice compliment. I think the second dress is much more fitting, not the first isn't nice, but something caught my eye with the second plus that feeling tells you a lot. I also would suggest adding some bling like accessories that will be a nice compliment.

Omg I had to do a double take of your post. This same exact situation happened to me with the same dress (one with the bow)! I went to a certain bridal shop because I found they carried a dress I had been searching for (which even looked like your first pic but I can’t tell if it’s the exact dress or not) however, while I was there I found the second dress you posted and couldn’t decide between the two! I even put a deposit down and left the store and the owner said I could call her that weekend to give my final decision if I needed to sleep on it.


A few ways I decided was when I showed my friends which one they liked I secretly hoped they voted for the one with the bow. I also had seen the original dress I was looking for on a bunch of other brides in bridal posts so knew it was popular and already worn by so many others however the one with the bow seemed so unique to me. I completely get with being hesitant about the front of the dress being plain but it is beautiful, classy and timeless! I ended up getting married in my parents backyard a month ago, in the wedding dress with the bow and had so many compliments on it and ultimately glad I made that decision because I felt the plain white went better with an outdoor wedding. Whichever you pick, you’ll love but just thought it was so funny I had the same experience as you and with the same dress!

I go with the one that gave you "that feeling" over the dress style you thought you'd want!!

I added a little tiny belt I guess you could say just to the front of it to give it a little extra something on the front without the vail for the reception. I'm so happy I went with it!! So weird how we had the same situation happen!
