Hi everyone!
I recently picked up my dress from the salon and I’m really disappointed about it.
It doesn’t feel or look like the sample at all to me. the sample was soft and really flowed nicely. My dress I picked up was all wrinkled, stiff, the zipper isn’t working, and I have eye hook falling off.

Is it possible my dress wasn’t made right??

Im starting to really panic and look at new options.

Anyone else have advice or similar experience??

Oh no! I'd definitely go in and talk to the salon about your concerns, especially the broken items. As far as stiffness, the sample dress could be softer because of how many times its been tried on. Try talking to them and see what they can do for you before worrying too much. Good luck!

I agree with Brae. Mention your concerns and hear them out. It is quite possible that it's just stiffer because it is brand new, perhaps that's it?

Hey Lindsey! I’m so sorry that you feel your dress isn’t right!
You should definitely talk to your bridal salon about what you feel isn’t right.
If the zipper is broken and the hook eye is loose, this is definitely something that can be fixed easily with your alterations! As long as you make the store assistants aware of it now, and that it was delivered to you like this, it should not be a problem.
As the pp’s mentioned, it may feel a bit stiffer than you remember because you got a brand new dress but you originally tried on one that was not. I would also say that the wrinkling is from shipping.
