So I really do not want to spend a ton on my dress. I am planning to have a reception dress that is light weight but classy.

I am looking into wedding dress consignment and I don't want to spend more than 875$. Am I being realistic?

$875 is reasonable, even for a new dress.

David’s Bridal and BHLDN might work great! Moonlight Bridal (Tango line) is in the $750 range I think. Morilee, Allure & Casablanca are great affordable designers but I don’t know how many dresses under $1K they might have.

I will say that I found a lot of dresses on the David's Bridal website that I really liked. Once I went in the store, I didn't like the way they looked in person, but then I found some that I didn't like online but definitely liked in store!

My advice to you is to make sure you go to David's bridal and no where else. I was planning on buying my dress at David's bridal. Went to a bridal shop to play dress up and fell in love with one of the dresses. I got the whole say yes to the dress moment. It was 900 dollars over budget. I went to David's bridal and none compared to that dress. So just stick to cheap dress shops lol.

We have a dress consignment shop..but also able to get new ones. I am going this weekend. All reviews are A+, my wedding planner told me about it and said she wish she used them.
