I ordered my dress yesterday, and I’m feeling self conscious about wearing a strapless dress and being overweight. I’d like to wear some sort of small shrug or bolero or capelet with it, but I don’t want to overload the dress and I can’t afford to pay a ton of money. What can you all suggest? It’s ivory. Thanks for your help.

Wow, that dress is beautiful! I have seen brides bring blankets, knit shawls, or even jean jackets! I think it would somewhat depend on the fancy level of your wedding. How nice is it?
