Wedding Dress Buyers Remorse

Devon, on March 22, 2020 at 10:51 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
Have any of you put a deposit down on a dress and signed a contract for a dress that you instantly regret saying yes to? That’s where I’m at currently and I’m beyond upset about the whole situation.

Would it be ok if you cancelled the dress? For instance would it be not a lot of money for if you lost the deposit? If so then it’s ok to consider not going with the gown

Whar changed your mind? You obviously loved it to order it and make a deposit, what changed? Have you tried it on again? Or maybe can do alterations? If you're sure you don't like and can spend more but have your dream dress then consider loose the deposit

I did and we got stuck with the dress. They made us pay for the entire dress and I ended up changing my mind within a few hours, but because I signed a contract there was nothing I could do. My mom is the one that paid for it so now she is trying to sell it. I feel terrible about the whole thing.

I felt pressured to put money down for a dress at David’s Bridal. They gave me a great discount and the dress was also on sale for only a few days. I put down a deposit but only because I knew it could be canceled within a week. Two days later I went to another shop and fell in love with my new dress for all the right reasons and put down a deposit. Needless to say I canceled my first dress.
Maybe really think about your dress and why you liked it. Dress regret is common and sometimes it’s due to overthinking. If you really think it’s not the right dress for you, shop around more. If you don’t find anything else then maybe your first dress is meant to be your dress. If you recently brought your dress within the last week, maybe they will consider canceling the order for you. I hope it all works out!
