Wedding dress- bra no bra? (Pictures)

Rachel, on November 10, 2017 at 1:20 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 35

So this is my wedding dress (before alterations, obviously). I’m a tad nervous about the support aspect in the bust. I’m a 34 DD so I’m definitely got some goodies up top that I’m not a big fan of showing off. I wouldn’t say that I’m super perky but I’m also not saggy- kinda in between. I’m nervous that this doesn’t look supported enough and curious if you guys think that i should try a long line bra or have my seamstress sew in underwire cups? The lady who helped me put on the dress swears that once it’s altered my girls will feel super snug and supported.

I think it looks fine. If you add a bra you're going to end up with more cleavage.

I think it looks great, but maybe you would feel more secure with having cups sewn in. Wearing a bra is definitely going to give you a different look.

I'm the same size as you are, up top & I had my seamstress sew in cups. It helped with support, a lot & your seamstress was right, once your dress is altered, it's going to have a lot more support, anyways. I wouldn't get a bra, I think it will give the look that you don't want. ETA - spelling

Agreed with PPs, a bra would give you a different look, so I think you might be better off with cups. I had cups put into mine and when I tried it on yesterday I was shocked at how well it fit/how much support I had!

I never would have guessed you are a D cup from these pics, I think you can go braless or have cups sewn in. You look beautiful!

My alterations seamstress recommended no bra for me, (I'm a 34 H) just a good fitted dress and tape to keep things where they should be. I had my second fitting this week and I am confident it will be great without a bra.

First, I love the dress!! Omg!!

Second, I am having one sewn in even though I am only a 32 B. I would say its a personal comfort thing.

I was scared to death when the assistant suggested I lose my bra. I'm a 38DD and my girls are obnoxious. LMAO ! However, I took it off and immediately looked better. The dress absolutely supports them. I think yours look good too ! I'm willing to bet that once altered, you'll feel much better about it.

I'm the same size but it looks like you're a little more muscular in the chest than I am. I say it looks great without one and if you add one do it to be more secure it will look great either way but if you add it will add cleavage

I think the girls look perfect in this pic. However, if it was me (and I am also well endowed in this area) I would have cups sewn in just so I feel 100% comfortable.
