Wedding Dress Anxiety - I’ve gained weight

First - you look fantastic. Second - on your wedding day you feel a lot of things (excited, nervous, beautiful, happy, and maybe even a little sad for the people who can't be there) - never that you could have looked better.

First of all: you look absolutely stunning. You’re so beautiful! It’s a gorgeous dress.
A lot of brides get dress regret or don’t feel the same in the dress when they first got it- it’s perfectly normal!
My advice is just to remind yourself you’re a bride who is marrying the love of your life. No matter what you look like (which you’re going to look amazing no matter that), the love of your life is going to be speechless and love you even more in that dress and glammed out.Weight gain is also a common issue or concern. Most seamstresses can help you with the sizing and for. If you did gain weight to the point where the dress doesn’t fit or is too tight- make sure to plan to lose a few pounds as needed. But seriously you look stunning I love that dress on you 100%. You rock it well. 🤩

You have to want to believe positive things about yourself. Focus on treating your body well starting right now, up to abd even after your wedding. If you treat your body well, then your body will treat you well. Try to make it a priority to eat non processed, whole foods and get in 30 minutes of physical activity. Even if its walking or jogging indoors in place.

I'll start by saying, We are our own worse critics. I myself have been dreading and pushing off wedding dress shopping for this exact reason.. The past year has been hard enough on us, its completely understandable why you are second guessing yourself. That being said....

If you are really worried about how you look, you still have time. I myself have started Optivia 5&1 plan and I'm down over 10lbs. (And I will say I slipped off of my program during the holidays) Its not only a change in lifestyle but its a change in the way you think.

It always astonishes me when skinny people think they're too heavy. We are our own worst critics.
I gained a bunch of weight before my wedding, and I had some double chins touched up in the photos. I wish I had been slimmer, but I love the memories and the photos.
Every bride looks beautiful on her day because she's glowing!

When I heard that my wedding dress came in and was ready for me to try on and pick up I got slammed with anxiety out of nowhere! All of a sudden I panicked as well (what if I don't like it anymore, what if I look terrible in it, did I pick the wrong dress, why didn't I start working out, etc.) - and all of those anxieties went away once I put the dress on again. ❤️
