Wedding dress alterations

That is my dress in the 2 pictures. This is a sample dress. The dress in my size is ordered. I’m wondering what are my options to cover the keyhole in the back and too possible extend the straps? I will have extra material from the hem of my dress since I’m cutting off the train. It’s a plain tulle bottom.
I mostly want to cover the keyhole but I would be open to covering up the deep v neck as well. Would covering it with a nude sheer material be an option? Or is it better to use material from the dress? How would the zipper work? I have no idea about sewing and stuff just curious about my options. Thanks!

Using a sheer material to cover the keyhole would probably be an easy fix. I'm sure they could do multiple layers of the same fabric to get the right opacity you're after!

I personally love your dress as is and your totally rockin’ it! May I ask why you want to cover up the keyhole?

Aww thanks! It’s mostly because my family is so conservative and wants it’s more modest 😐 and part of me kinda feels self conscious. I mostly do like it the way it is, but just wondering other people’s thoughts. And figuring out options that I may have.

Again it’s gorgeous the way it is, however you have to comfortable in your own skin and if that means covering it then go for it. In my opinion leave it! You got it! Rock it to the fullest because you’ve glowing in the pics!

You’d likely need to talk to the seamstress. But I wonder if you could just raise the bottom part of the dress to meet the top but since you’re cutting off the train you won’t need to worry about length.
