Wedding Dress Alterations

I just called my boutique about this last week. They had me schedule my first appointment for mid-June for my 10/7/21 wedding. They said with all the postponements, scheduling is very tight to ensure everyone gets their dress on time. I would call the place you are planning on getting your alterations done at and see what their schedule is like.

I am getting married on April 24th and just had my first alteration appointment on 01/04 out of 3. I am scheduled to come back on on the 21th for my second and then 02/25 for my final. I bought my dress in October if that helps at all.

I had my first fitting in mid-December for my 6/12/21 wedding, but I originally didn't plan to do it until February. My dress came in over a month earlier than expected and my body shape/weight doesn't fluctuate much, so I just went ahead with the fitting early. My next fitting is scheduled for early April.

My wedding is September and I went two weeks ago to try on my dress. They had me try it on once it arrived to make sure everything was okay with it.


My fittings are scheduled for end of July (1 appointment) and end of August (2 appointments)

Well, About one year in advance for me.

Ive got 3 appointments schedule 3 months out from the wedding month. Getting married in late August with appointments June, July & August. With enough time after the August appt to make any last minute fixes if necessary.
