Wedding Dress Alterations

My wedding dress came in yesterday and I’m a little nervous about it. I absolutely LOVE the skirt, but I’m second guessing the top part. I wish I would have gone strapless or done thin straps because I feel these straps are way too thick and I don’t feel “sexy” up top like I wanted to. My dress probably can’t be made strapless, so I was wondering if any of you have ever had a different bodice made for your dress and had the skirt added to it (hope I make sense)? Is that even the possible?

I know this is something I should be asking my seamstress, but my appointment is not until May and I keep overthinking it 😭

Oh my goodness I LOVE it 😍I think it’s “sexy” enough, it shows some cleavage but just enough to still be classy. That dress is beautiful.

I think thinning the straps would be a doable way of going more for the look you want. I’m not a seamstress but I can’t imagine it would be too difficult. I think it would look a little more dainty. Either way it is absolute beautiful
