Hi! We selected our date originally because our venue assured us it would be peak for fall foliage. We were planning quite a large wedding with over 300 people on the guest list. A short time after, we decided a large wedding wasn't for us. We switched gears and made plans for a destination beach wedding, with 80 on the guest list this time. We didn't want to change the date we already had set, so we stuck with our 10/24/2020. Fun fact, our first date was on a 24th date, my FH purposed to me on the 24th, my FH's fire station is Engine 24, I was 24 when we began dating. 24 has continuously popped up into our lives, so after we realized it, we thought we made the right decision on sticking with 10/24/2020! I can't wait for the big day to marry the man of my dreams xoxo

We were originally going to do a Thursday or Sunday to keep venue costs down. Ultimately, we decided to not go with a traditional venue and are renting a house instead (it’ll be a micro wedding - 31 people including us). The date coincidentally happens to fall on the 5 year anniversary of the first camping trip we took as singles where friends set us up!

Hi Our date a few years ago was the day that something shifted in our friendship and kind of started us on the path to being more than friends. We had been hanging out and going out to eat and to the movies and things like that, but Oct. 24 was the first time that it felt more like a date for me...it created this huge elephant in the room for a few weeks lol Anyways, our date was one of the first things we decided on, and it was super easy. I also really just love Oct!

I chose it so I could be close to my parents anniversary, which is the October 15th 😁
