Ours was simply the last Saturday left in October that wasn’t Halloween!!


As fate would have it, it’s also my parents wedding anniversary!

Hi everyone! My fiance have been together for almost 9 years. We actually thought about getting married on September 21, our anniversary, but I really wanted a fall wedding!! We decided to love our wedding back a month and the 24th was the first saturday! Now it just feels natural to say our date is 10-24-20 haha we booked our venue a year and a half in advance to make sure our date was available!

We're having our 10 year renewal on 10/24/20! The actual date falls on Tuesday 10/13 and the venue was booked on the 17th.

My birthday is actually our anniversary. 10/13!

I'M YOUR TWIN!!! October is my favorite month! I love the entire feel that fall brings! My father said that if we had it on Halloween he wouldn't come (he was kidding), but I knew there would be a lot of parties so decided to do it the week before.

We have been together 11 years!

We didn’t really choose it, but we didn’t want summer and we didn’t want near the holidays so we went with October and went with what was available at our venue lol!

We chose a wedding planner two hours away so we had to move the date and I still wanted it to be October-December but we needed to avoid days it might snow so October it was. October 2nd is my birthday, 6th is our oldest sons, 26th is our youngest sons. I’m stressing just a little bit about choosing a date in the month of nearly all of our birthdays now that it’s getting closer!

This is why my fiance and I chose the date! We started dating on October 24 and wanted to keep it.

I wanted to get married in October because I love Fall and Halloween is my favorite holiday. He actually proposed to me in October as well! My brother (my twin) is getting married the weekend after me, on Halloween!

We’ve also been together for 3 years. 4 this year. Our colors are gold and maroon. There will be lots of pumpkins. Already booked all my vendors, got my wedding dress, and bridesmaids picked out. 🙂
