Hi ladies!!!
So I have my wedding date for the 17 of July 2021
I’ve been planning for a backyard wedding but my fiancé and I have been talking and are thinking about elopingI already have my bridesmaids, maid and matron of honorIf we do elope they would be left out because there would be no wedding ceremony even though we are still thinking about having a small reception If we do elope how or what can I do to make them feel included and play their roles ??

I suppose at that point they could still throw you a shower and/or a bachelorette, but there wouldn't really be a place for them to do anything else.
You should still thank them with gifts.

There wouldn't really be anything for them to do if you elope. Have they already bought dresses?

Okay, I wouldn't have them purchase dresses if you are only having a reception. I would say they would just be guests like everyone else. There really isn't anything for them to do at your reception.
