What are your thoughts on wedding dessert? Will your wedding have a cake, cupcakes, or both?

Thanks! I’m weary that we won’t know in advance, but I’m confident we can figure out a back-up plan.

We will have a small 6 inch cake for FH and I to cut, and we will also have 4 different flavors of cupcakes for our guest.

We are doing cake and donuts! Neither of us our big cake or cupcake fans, so we plan on having donuts as the main dessert and a small cake for us to cut.

I am doing cake because as you said it's traditional and I don't think will ever go out of style! Many do have their personal cutting cake and cupcakes. Personally all our friends had cupcakes or cheesecake or sheet cake so I wanted the wow factor of a 4-tiered cake and each layer's buttercream design will be unique! Smiley love

My FH and I love chocolate with peanut butter so I’m sure we’ll some of those for cupcakes as well as red velvet, lemon, strawberry, and vanilla. The cake will probably be chocolate with chocolate ganache icing!

I would go with a small tier cake for you guys and then cupcakes for the rest of your guests! You're able to give them multiple flavors by doing it this way, and they look super cute!

Im planning on doing a simple cut cake with cupcakes, cookies, and some donuts since my fiancé isn’t a big fan of cake.

We are doing two cupcake towers with small cutting cakes on top. We are doing 2 different cutting cakes with 2 different toppers. Originally we picked out 2 cake toppers and my fiance was having gluten issues. We seem to have skipped the gluten problems, but we still need at least two cupcake towers anyway.
