It happens to the best of us..but the part about the food you can't please everybody if they don't like it I'm sure there's a McDonald's on their way homeSmiley smile

We have a chick fil a less than a mile from the reception, if people don't like the food they can walk there! Seriously, you can't worry about people not liking the food! Don't let these what if's stress you out, just relax, trust the plan you've put together (and hopefully the backup plan for everything) and enjoy the process! You have less than two weeks till you are married.

Yep! I'm having the exact same thoughts. As the day is getting closer I'm getting more and more nervous. I'm most worried about what if people who RSVP'd yes do not show up and I have a bunch of empty tables. It's so nerve wrecking!

I do the same exact thing, and there's no McDonald's for an hour where we are getting married!

I am a worrier though. Ask my FH, I am constantly worried about something - is everyone going to have fun? will the colors look good together? will my bridesmaids be comfortable? will the cake fall off the table and smash to the floor? will the world come to an end the week before we get married? OK maybe the last one was a little sarcasm, but you get the point!

Yeah I'm trying to remain calm but its so hard. There is a Burger king a mile or so away from our venue. So like some of you all suggested they could go there. Mrs Speer that actually happened to me today two of our guest who RSVP called to cancel today SO irritating. Also she had called me just yesterday to confirm again crazy huh.

Not to add to your stress, but at my sister's wedding my brother in law dropped the wedding cake, my grandfather fell in the pool, nearly 40 extra people showed up and worse of all it rained (a little) on her outdoor reception with no back up plan (we live in Phoenix and don't know what rain is), but her wedding was still absolutely perfect in her eyes. My point is-- SOMETHING will go wrong for sure, but it won't ruin your day unless you let it.

@Melissa: I'm a worrier too. My FH and I were having a discussion the other day about famous last words and he says mine will be "I worry"

I worry that no one will show up. That the caterer won't make enough food. That I'll trip on my way down the aisle. That no one will dance. That the cake will fall over. On and on...

@ Arlene - I had to give my headcount last Friday. Then yesterday my Great Aunt called to say she and her husband will not be able to attend now and then I found out my one of my Uncles and a cousin can not attend either. Frustrating!

I luckily am very close to several fast food joints/restaurants. All within 5 minutes of the venue...so if no one likes the food...they can all go elsewhere! lol

I'm trying to stay calm and trying to focus on just having a good time!

I think my biggest worry is that I'll have to call the cops on FH's family!

Next time you start thinking of the what ifs- just remember, they'll make great stories to share with your future kids and grandkids!
