Wedding day transport 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Just had to share easily what I think is the funniest part of our wedding plans!!

So. Backstory. FH and I met while working together at an ambulance company. I still work full time as a paramedic for that company. half of our guest list, AND weddings party are friends from our company! (Obviously some deep roots there).

Anyways! We were brainstorming ideas for wedding day transportation the other night, and he jokingly mentioned that we should just use an ambulance, since so much of our lives both individually and together have been there!

So. Yesterday, I spoke with my boss, the owner of the company. Thinking full well he was going to say no. And what happens?? He SAID YES! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️😬 He even offered to clean our chosen rig up so it’s all fresh and sparkly so my dress doesn’t get dirty!! Needless to say, we are going to be rolling in AND out of our wedding with lights! 😂😂😂 (maybe it’s not that hilarious, but I’m super entertained by it. AND, this solution is saving us over a grand!!)

    That is so cool!! I was planning on renting a renovated school bus as transportation to our wedding and then I realized there is no point since my wedding is in Atlanta! I'm just going to block rooms at hotels that are less than a mile away from the venue. Bonus: my wedding is pretty much in a park and the Atlanta Botanical gardens so if my guest don't want to take an uber, they can take a nice stroll through the park. Heck, I might walk there myself lol grab an ice cream on the way.

    That sounds so cool!!! Our venue is about 20 mins away from our hotel, in a rural area, so we had to figure out something! I'm so thankful my boss is a cool, family oriented guy, and I've been there as a loyal employee long enough to actually be able to go and ask for a favor! lol. But walking through a park for ice cream sounds fantastic! I'm a little jealous! (HUGE ice cream fan over here lol!)

    Thank you!! I agree! I thought the suggestion was a little crazy at first, but since my boss said yes, the more I think about it, the more fun I realize it's going to be!!

    Thanks!! We plan on using it for our "work family" photo op too, since so many of our guests are current or former co-workers!
