Wedding Day Timeline

Should I travel 32 minutes to my bridal salon $170 or should I have her come to me $220. How soon before were you ready with your hair and makeup done?

I am worried about being done at 10am when our elopement ceremony isn’t till 4pm. Her site says the below:
-Timing MUST be flexible (you give us a finish time that you can be done no later than, and know that we may have you done well before that time.)

I think I would have her come to you, just because that's an hour total of driving (there and back) just for your hair styling. I plan on being ready roughly 2 hours before the ceremony.

I would definitely have her come to me (which is what I'm doing)! I've only been in one wedding where the bride went to the salon to get her hair done, and the rest of the timeline was thrown off because the hair stylist ran behind, then, the bride had to drive 30 minutes to the venue.

I would definitely pay the travel fee; this is what I am doing for Saturday. We would be ready too early for our 5 pm ceremony but then again, we are having a first look. I would rather be too early than late.

I would have her come to you. Less stress and worry for you. If you are doing pics before the ceremony, you would have to be done way before 4PM.

Have her come to you. We were in the same situation and we booked the salon which was 40 minutes away and decided it wasn’t worth it and last month just switched last minute to someone that will come to us instead

I paid $40 for travel, so I'd probably pay the $220. My HAMU cost $240 before travel. I would probably have her come to you so you aren't ready 6 hours prior. I would have her come closer to 12 or 1.

Agreed - I think $50 to not have to worry about travelling yourself is well worth it.

I’m paying the $50 travel fee for mine! I want to be able to start my makeup/doing other things to get ready while my moh, mom, and fmil have their hair done!

    Have her come to you.

If you get stuck in traffic to and or from getting your 💆‍♀️, then you will be behind schedule.

If she is late getting to you, you can still get ready.

    Congratulations!
