Wedding Day Timeline

Here is my timeline for a 3-8 wedding, maybe it will help. 3pm ceremony, 3:30-4:30 cocktail hour and photos (this could be shortened or removed), 4:30 buffet opens and first dance, 5:15 toasts, 5:30 dancing, 6:45 cake cutting, 7:50 last song and line up for sparkler send off

Hey Rachel! I totally understand how daunting creating your wedding day timeline can be, but getting something down on paper is the first step. Once you have everything laid out in order of (how you think) everything will run, then you can start playing around with it.

There are some things that will not change, and this is where it is best to start. For example, what is your ceremony start time and how long will it run for? What time is your meal due to be served? How many hours do you have your photographer for and when will they start?
